Neuronal Labeling in the Organ of Corti

We’re sharing a recent narration of a confocal image of the adult organ of Corti highlighting the arrangement of the efferent and afferent neurons in the synaptic zone of the Outer Hair cells. Inner and Outer Hair Cells and afferent neurons are labeled with Parvalbumin. Tuj1 labels all neurons including the LOC and MOC Efferents. DAPI labels the nuclei.
